  I had never had these until we stopped on our way back from Thackerville. I had the apple and it was perfect. So good. The shop was great and staff was good and we waited on them to make a breakfast one - wait wasn't too long and will for sure stop there again.

  Because it's my diet, I had to drive past this place, rather than stop, many times in my adventures.
  Alas, I knew my driving adventures through this past of the country was coming to an end and I knew I had to stop.
  I'm glad I did. The people are friendly. The restrooms are clean. And the fried pies are delicious.
  The pies are similar to what you might buy I'm a pre-wrapped package from Hostess in general shape only.
  The Arbuckle Mountain fried pies are a quality far surpassing anything mass produced.
  The fruit pies are especially tasty. None of their pies are coated in sugar, and because they are fried, I found they are best eaten within a few hours of purchase.

  The Best pies hands down. Finally decided to stop by and check this place out. Sits on on a lonely corner of the exit, but don't let that fool you. The two ladies were really nice and friendly, I really appreciate that. I could kick myself for not stopping before. These pies are Awesome and they were not greasy. Just the right sweetness in each one which makes it delightful and pleasant to eat. I got the pecan, cherry and coconut which were all great. Coconut was like a old fashioned coconut pie flavor. Definitely stopping by on my next pass by from now on, want to try the lunch. Dont miss out.

  Great Pies - This place is amazing. They have all types of pies. They are fried and look a lot like the old Hostess pies without the glazing, but they are so much better. They also have meat pies; although, I've not tried them. The staff is super friendly and if you don't see something you like, ask they might be able to create some on short notice. They also have a nice seating area if you're just passing through and want a stop.
